We offer expert support services on the following areas to suit your needs and finances:

***What does this mean for you?***

With A Father’s Friend you will always know how much you will pay for services in advance, and will always have the opportunity to discuss the agreement before we get started on any work.

If new work is required outside of the scope of our existing agreement we will issue a written proposal for you to accept (or discuss) before we start new services.

Time

Most solicitors and paralegals charge an hourly rate for their services, but the length of time required will depend on the type of service. Different legal services may take different amounts of time to complete until all parties are satisfied.

Many dads are left with unaffordable legal bills with little or nothing to show at the end of the process. Solicitors are part of the legal system and have a vested commercial interest in long, transactional legal cases and have little empathy with separated fathers.

***What does this mean for you?***

With A Father’s Friend and our fixed-price agreements, It places the risk back on us. You don’t have to worry about paying for more hours than you thought it would take.

We have to focus on being more efficient to ensure our relationship is mutually beneficial. This means we can constantly improve the quality of the services we deliver to you.

All of our fixed-price agreements include support and regularly scheduled review sessions. In fact, we encourage constant communication. Becoming your trusted legal support is our mission and open communication is key.

  • Here to help

“I really could not have got this far without your help and expertise. I honestly can’t thank you Shane and your team enough for helping me through this very difficult time.”

    — Lloyd, Nottingham

  • See what our clients say

“After having lost contact with my with child and going through a very stressful time I was recommended to Shane and (A Fathers friend limited) to get my process sorted.

He was very professional, diligent and calming because in these circumstances things can be very agitated and emotional and he was there for me anytime I have a question to ask or a concern to be raised so therefore without him I don’t know where I would have been today . Thank you again Shane.”

    — Ainsworth, Birmingham

  • A father's friend

“After the relationship broke down with my son’s mother, we couldn’t agree on the living arrangements. Social Services got involved, and during this time my son’s mother moved unannounced and I had no idea where she had taken him or no way to contact her.

A Father’s Friend supported me with the process of gaining access to my son again as quickly as possible.”

    — Aaron, Leicestershire

  • 5 star reviews

“I reached out to Shane and his team for support to gain contact with my daughter. He made the whole process completely stress free.

His professionalism and knowledge resulted in a positive outcome in my case, achieving exactly what I requested. I would highly recommend him.”

    — Duane, Birmingham

  • Amazing feedback

“A Fathers Friend has kept me sane when needed and has guided me very well. I spoke to a solicitor over two years ago who quoted me thousands on a retainer before they would even speak with me.

Within a week of my initial consultation with A Father’s Friend I had been through mediation and had a clear plan of action.”

    — Ollie, Bedfordshire
